Seeking Light | Bridge Arts Foundation | Exhibition at Art Yourself Atelier

(Exhibition Preface)

The Bridge Arts Foundation proudly announces the second edition of its Open Call Exhibition Program, which is designed to provide support for emerging artists. In its 2nd edition, the 'Seeking Light' Open Call Exhibition features 18 talented artists selected from over 100 submissions through a process involving art professionals.


These artists will showcase their work at The Scholart Selection, The Bridge Arts Foundation's partnered Art Gallery located in Los Angeles, from April 20th to May 18th, 2024.


"Seeking Light" suggests a quest for illumination and clarity in artistic expression. The interplay of light and shadow becomes a metaphor for life's complexities and the pursuit of enlightenment through artistic creation. It also delves into the human desire for understanding, truth, and transcendence; and mirrors the philosophical journey of seeking knowledge and self-discovery.


The 18 featured artists in the exhibition express their unique responses to the theme through their art, offering diverse perspectives and interpretations. Their works serve as reflections on the interplay between light and darkness, knowledge and ignorance, and the transformative power of enlightenment in both art and life. The theme of 'Seeking Light' resonates powerfully in both visual art and philosophical contemplation, encouraging viewers to delve into a deep exploration of significance and insight.
