PRIOR ART SPACE is a next generation art collector’s space founded by Oliver Elst and Laura del Arco a well-known collector couple based in Berlin and Barcelona.
Laura, a Fashion designer and Art director and Oliver, former car designer, both long term expats in China, started collecting years ago and built significant collections individually and together.
They realized collectors have a responsibility to not only collect if not to support actively artists in their collection.The importance of loaning artworks and the value of exhibiting the collections publicly. Their drive is to inspire collectors to support artists, guide next generations of collectors towards a more unestablished democratized art world and to share the passion for Art.
